Creative Photography Wales offers short courses specifically for beginners looking to learn more about their camera and how to compose and capture better photographs. You have a choice of a One 2 One / Individual Course or a Group Workshop; details for each are below. You'll also get the chance to explore the gorgeous Welsh countryside!

Whatever your level of photographic experience, our courses are designed to suit your needs. Our Beginners courses assume no previous experience and will enable the complete beginner to learn the fundamentals of photography in a fun and informative atmosphere. Nigel will ask you to complete a questionnaire and design the course around you so you'll NEVER feel out of your depth!

The essence of our Beginners Courses is that they allow you to take control of your camera and its controls and therefore your picture - it's easier to acheive than you ever thought possible! Click here for an example of a Beginners Group Course Itinerary.

FED UP WITH AUTO AND THE FLASH POPPING UP? Our Beginners Courses will quickly move you on from the Auto settings to full Manual Control - you'll see how easy it is & how it'll transform your photography!

Beginners' photography courses start by teaching students to understand their cameras and how to get the best results from them.

Who are the courses for?
Anyone with an interest in photography irrespective of age or level of experience.

Will I be out of my depth?
