With each course you'll get a questionnaire in advance so we can assess your requirements and design the course around what you want!

Individual tuition allows you to enjoy Nigel’s full attention as he walks you through all key technical aspects of your camera, helps you explore your creative vision and takes you on a tour of the stunning Welsh countryside. 

One to One courses include the following:

• Course tailored to your skill level

• All day digital photography tuition from Nigel

• All transportation to and between photographic locations (also to / from accommodation if booked as a package).

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Beginners Course: £175 one person / £225 two people for the One Day course and £300 / £375 for a two day course.

Improvers and Landscape Courses: £195 one person / £250 two people for the One Day course and £330 / £425 for a two day course.

We can also offer a 2 Day 2 centre option; one day in each of the Brecon Beacons and Pembrokeshire Coast National Parks at twice the day rates (please note that this does not include accommodation); if you want this included, see the short break packages section.

How will you spend your day?

All One 2 One Single Day courses run for between 8 and 9 hours and include:

• A 1-2 hour studio based tutorial session which covers a range of techniques and subjects. This will also allow time for identifying any individual preferences we can work on during the outdoor session.

• A 3-4 hour session on location. We visit 4 to 5 stunning locations, each providing a different photographic opportunity and each will make you want to come back for more (the Half Day Option includes this element only).

• A 1-2 hour digital processing session where you’ll learn how to process and enhance your images and go home with up to 3 high quality prints of your work.

All One 2 One Two Day Courses are the same as the One Day course on the first day. On day two there is a choice of covering a different area within the same National Park (with a differing range of locations) or spending a day in the other National Park. The second day will also allow time for further practising skills learnt on Day One and allow us to follow up on any specific aspects of photography you wish. Day two will also end in a Photoshop review session.

So. in order for Nigel to tailor the course around your own preferences and level of experience complete the short questionnaire in advance of the course so that it can be designed around you and what you want to gain from it. 

These courses are also arranged on any day to suit you and the timing of your visit to one of Wales’s great National Parks. For the real enthusiast, we also offer a ‘Dawn until Dusk’ option which will include a dawn start and / or dusk finish on either of the one or two day courses at no extra cost.
